Pura Vida Lactation & more, LLC operates as a private-pay, out-of-network practice. As a licensed SLP and CLC, I utilize the correct speech pathology evaluation and treatment codes, including those for lactation-specific support, and provide Superbills upon request. Many families are pleasantly surprised to learn that their insurance covers a significant portion of the services. Since coverage differs by plan, I suggest reaching out to your insurer to verify your out-of-network benefits and any reimbursement requirements.
Each insurance plan is unique, and it's your responsibility to confirm whether feeding therapy services qualify for reimbursement. To assist you, I've included a list of helpful questions in the FAQs section.
