Welcome...to a space where your baby, your body, and your feeding journey are met with clinical expertise, genuine care, and no judgment. Here, you get more than a lactation consultant. You get a speech-language pathologist, a NICU feeding therapist, and a fellow mama who sees your whole story —
and stays with you through it.
Meet Cristi Garfield...
MS CCC-SLP, CLC, CIMC, CBWS
Raising a baby is hard — and support should start long before they arrive. Cristi has over a decade of experience specializing in tongue-ties, oral anatomy, latch, positioning, and the transitions that catch families off guard: hospital to home, breast to bottle, daycare, and beyond. She comes to you, so success happens in the comfort of your own environment. With additional training in babywearing and infant massage, she supports the whole family through every stage — so you walk into those first weeks ready, not scrambling.

Billing/insurance:
As a private-pay provider, working outside of insurance allows me to provide longer sessions, flexible scheduling, prevention-focused care, and in-depth parent coaching — without visit caps, authorization delays, or diagnosis requirements.
As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, I provide Superbills upon request. Many families are surprised to find that their insurance reimburses a substantial portion of services — it's always worth a call to your provider to ask about your out-of-network benefits.
I come to you for in-home visits within approximately 45 minutes of Baltimore, MD. A small travel fee may apply for visits outside of this radius. Payment plans are also available when appropriate. Please reach out directly to discuss.
